The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The All-merciful 1 Hath taught the Qur'an. 2 He created man 3 Taught him the mode of expression. 4 The sun and moon revolve to a computation; 5 the stars and the trees bend in prostration. 6 He raised the heavens and set up everything in balance, 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance. 9 He spread out the earth for the people. 10 Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates); 11 Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware, 14 And created jinn from the flame of fire. 15 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 16 Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests! 17 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 18 He unleashed the two seas so that they merge together, 19 Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. 20 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 21 From both of them emerge pearl and coral. 22 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 23 Also, His are the ships that run, raised up like mountains upon the sea. 24 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
