۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a book that is protected 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
