Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
