Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 The living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
