The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence; 1 and those that draw out violently, 2 and by those that speedily glide along (the cosmos), 3 And those who race each other in a race 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 Upon the day when the first blast shivers 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 On that Day some hearts shall tremble (with fright), 8 [and] their eyes downcast... 9 (Now) they are saying: Shall we really be restored to our first state 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 [And] they add, "That, then, would be a return with loss!" 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 and lo, they will all be in the open plain. 14 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 15 When his Lord called upon him in the holy valley, twice, 16 "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him? 19 And he showed him the tremendous token. 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 Then turned he away in haste, 22 and gathered his people and declared: 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 but God seized him and meted out to him the chastisement of both the next world and the present: 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
