The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
