۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
