Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
