(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast; 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 that they may understand my words. 28 Appoint for me of my folk a familiar, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 And associate him (with me) in my affair, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 Indeed, We showed Our favour to you before also, 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 “You and your brother, both go with My signs, and do not slacken in My remembrance.” 42 Go both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds, 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 Go, then; you two unto him and say, 'Behold, we are apostles sent by thy Sustainer: let, then, the children of Israel go with us, and cause them not to suffer [any longer]. We have now come unto thee with a message from thy Sustainer; and [know that His] peace shall be [only] on those who follow [His] guidance: 47 'Truly, it has been revealed to us that the torment will be for him who denies [believes not in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messengers, etc.], and turns away.'(from the truth and obedience of Allah)" 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 It is He who has laid out the earth for you and traced routes in it and sent down water from the sky. We have brought forth every sort of plant with it, 53 Eat and pasture your cattle, (therein); verily, in this are proofs and signs for men of understanding. 54
