Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a book that is protected 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
