The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
