The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Fill up the measure and do not diminish the goods of people, 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 They said: You are only of those deluded; 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 Cause, then, fragments of the sky to fall down upon us, if thou art a man of truth!" 187 He. said: My Lord is the Best Knower of that which ye work. 188 But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. 189 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
