The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
