The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 By the Promised Day! 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 by a burning fire 5 while they sat around it, 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
