The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
