So, when the caravan set forth, their father said, 'Surely I perceive Joseph's scent, unless you think me doting.' 94 They said: By Allah, you are most surely in your old error. 95 Then when the bearer of the good news came, He cast (the shirt) over his face, and he forthwith regained clear sight. He said: "Did I not say to you, 'I know from Allah that which ye know not?'" 96 They said, "O our father! Ask forgiveness for our sins -- we were truly in the wrong." 97 He said, "I shall certainly ask my Lord to forgive you. Surely, He is the Most Forgiving and Merciful." 98 Then when they entered unto Yusuf, he betook his parents unto himself. and said: enter Misr, if Allah will, in security. 99 And he raised his parents to the highest place of honour; and they [all] fell down before Him, prostrating themselves in adoration. Thereupon [Joseph] said: "O my father! This is the real meaning of my dream of long ago, which my Sustainer has made come true. And He was indeed good to me when He freed me from the prison, and [when] He brought you [all unto me] from the desert after Satan had sown discord between me and my brothers. Verily, my Sustainer is unfathomable in [the way He brings about] whatever He wills: verily, He alone is all-knowing, truly wise! 100 ۞ "O my Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed on me some power, and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams and events,- O Thou Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Take Thou my soul (at death) as one submitting to Thy will (as a Muslim), and unite me with the righteous." 101 This is of the tidings of the unseen, which We reveal unto thee; nor wast thou with them when they resolved on their affair while they were plotting. 102 And however much you long for, most men will not accept faith. 103 Even though you ask no recompense (for it). It is only a warning for all mankind. 104
