▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 As though they are jacinth and coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 65 In both of them are two springs gushing forth. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
