The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
