Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
