۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
