Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
