1/2 Hizb 54

۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
