The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
