[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
