Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
