Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall cast out any grudge they may have in their hearts. (There) they will sit on couches face to face like brothers together. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
