Prostration
< random >
Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
