BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 With spreading branches. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 51 In both these is a pair of every fruit. 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 HALLOWED be thy Sustainer's name, full of majesty and glory! 78
