Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Surely We revealed it on the grand night. 1 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is! 2 (Worship) on the Night of Destiny is better than (worship) for a thousand months. 3 In it descend the angels and Jibreel, by the command of their Lord – for all works. 4 Peace it is, till the break of dawn. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
