When the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts was sickness, said, 'Their religion has deluded them'; but whosoever puts his trust in God, surely God is All-mighty, All-wise. 49 And if you could see when the angels take away the souls of those who disbelieve (at death), they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the punishment of the blazing Fire." 50 “This is the recompense of what your own hands have sent ahead, and Allah does not oppress His bondmen.” 51 [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and severe in penalty. 52 "Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things)." 53 (Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them": They treated as false the Signs of their Lord: so We destroyed them for their crimes, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh: for they were all oppressors and wrong-doers. 54 Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have disbelieved, and they will not [ever] believe - 55 AS FOR THOSE with whom thou hast made a covenant, and who thereupon break their covenant on every occasion, not being conscious of God 56 Wherefore if thou over-takest them in war, disperse thou through them those behind them, that haply they may be admonished. 57 And if thou fearest treachery any way at the hands of a people, dissolve it with them equally; surely God loves not the treacherous. 58
