۞ And who doth greater wrong than he who telleth a lie against Allah, and denieth the truth when it reacheth him? Will not the home of disbelievers be in hell? 32 And whosoever bringeth the truth, and whosoever giveth credence thereto - these! they are the God-fearing. 33 They shall have what they will of their Lord's bounty. That is the reward of the good: 34 That Allah will remit from them the worst of what they did, and will pay them for reward the best they used to do. 35 Is not Allah sufficient for His bondman? Yet they would frighten thee with those beside Him? And whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, for him there shall be no guide. 36 And whomsoever Allah guides, for him there will be no misleader. Is not Allah All-Mighty, Possessor of Retribution? 37 And wert thou to ask them: who hath created the heavens and the earth? they will surely say: Allah. Say thou: bethink ye then that those whom ye call upon beside Allah, could they if Allah intended some hurt for me, remove His hurt? or if He intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His mercy? Say thou: enough for me is Allah; in Him the trusting put their trust. 38 Say thou: my nation! work according to your condition; I am going to work in my way; presently ye shall come to know. 39 Who it is to whom there shall come a punishment which will disgrace him and to whom will be due a lasting punishment. 40 BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed upon thee this divine writ, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of all] mankind. And whoever chooses to be guided [thereby,] does so for his own good, and whoever chooses to go astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and thou hast not the power to determine their fate. 41
