He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and then turned away 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 for how can you know that he might seek to purify himself, 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? 4 Now as for him who believes himself to be self-sufficient 5 To him do you address yourself. 6 though you will not be questioned even if he never purifies himself. 7 And he who comes to thee eagerly 8 And is also fearful (of God), 9 From him you are distracted. 10 Nay! surely it is an admonishment. 11 and so, whoever is willing may remember Him 12 (It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour, 13 lofty and pure, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Noble and righteous. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 Of what thing did He create him? 18 From a drop of seed. He createth him and proportioneth him, 19 Then (as for) the way-- He has made it easy (for him) 20 then He caused him to die and brought him to the grave, 21 Then He will raise him up again when He please. 22 Nay; but he has not done what He bade him. 23 Then let man look at his food, 24 We poured down rain abundantly, 25 and then We cleave the earth [with new growth,] cleaving it asunder, 26 then caused the grain to grow out of it, 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 and the olive, and the palm, 29 Orchards thick with trees, 30 And fruits and fodder,- 31 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 On the Day a man will flee from his brother 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 On that day, each one has just one issue, which is enough for him. 37 on that Day some faces will be beaming, 38 Laughing and full of joy, 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
