Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
