If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (Muhammad) poetry, nor was he supposed to be a poet. It is only the word (of God) and the illustrious Quran 69 That it may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (Truth). 70 Have they not seen how We have created for them the cattle they master with Our Hands? 71 We have subjected these to them, so that some may be used for riding and some for food, 72 other uses also they have in them, and beverages. What, will they not be thankful? 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he invents an example for Us, while forgetting his own creation, saying, “Who is such that can revive the bones when they have completely rotted away?” 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 He who produces for you fire out of the green tree, so that, lo! you kindle [your fires] therewith." 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. 81 And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” – and it thereupon happens! 82 So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back. 83
