Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know all that you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
