The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in endless columns! 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
