Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
