And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
