It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
