Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
