And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
