Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 They who would be seen, 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7
