Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
