So did you observe him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
