So what is the matter with these disbelievers, that they stare at you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him)? 36 From the right and the left, in groups? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness [Our being] the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise and sunset: verily, well able are We 40 To replace them by (others) better than them. And we are not to be outrun. 41 (Muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened: 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
