The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
