۞ O people! You are dependant on Allah; and Allah only is the Independent (Absolute, Not Needing Anything), the Most Praiseworthy. 15 If He so wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new mankind [in your stead]: 16 And this not at all difficult for Allah. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike, 19 nor are the darkness and the light; 20 Nor is the shadow equal with the sun's full heat; 21 And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves. 22 You are naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you with the Truth to proclaim good news and to warn. Never has there been a nation but a warner came to it. 24 And if they belie thee, then surely those before them have also belied. Their apostles came unto them with evidences and scriptures and a Book luminous. 25 Then I seized the disbelievers; so how did denial My rejection turn out? 26
