Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 yet you ignore it. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
