Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Those who disbelieved from among the people of the Book and the associaters could not break off, until there had come unto them the evidence. 1 An apostle from Allah, reciting pure pages, 2 Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight. 3 Those to whom the Book was given did not divide themselves until the Clear Proof came to them. 4 And they were commanded not but that they should worship Allah, keeping religion pure for him, as upright men, and that they should establish prayer and give the poor-rate, and that is the right religion. 5 Verily those who disbelieve from among the people of the Book and the associaters shall be cast into the Hell-fire, as abiders therein. These! they are the worst of the creation. 6 Truly, those who believe and do good works are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward is with their Lord: Gardens of Eden underneath which rivers flow, wherein they dwell for ever. Allah hath pleasure in them and they have pleasure in Him. This is (in store) for him who feareth his Lord. 8
