Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
